Nicholas Hunt

Nicholas Hunt grew up in the shadow of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee, where he learned to mountain bike, kayak, fly fish, hike, and surprisingly, ski. It’s also where he learned to write, a skill that’s taken him all across the country as a journalist and, more recently, content marketer. He's lived in every time zone in the Lower 48 in order and currently calls Denver home.

He’s currently the Content Director for the Adventure Cycling Association, a national nonproft focused on bicycle travel. He has worked for Washingtonian, Arkansas Life, Outside, 5280, and REI’s Uncommon Path magazine and Co-op Journal, where he developed and executed a SEO-driven content marketing strategy to support the retail giant’s growing guided trips business. He’s helped launch one magazine and redesign another. He’s found new writers and worked with industry veterans. And though he’s written and edited just about every kind of story you can imagine, his specialty lies in adventure travel, the outdoor economy, and the intersection of the two.
